At my buddies' house

Following a few hours on-line going through my buddy's latest assignment, the wonderful K picks me up and following an excellent tea of K's amazing Ragu. Favourite Niece K produces an amazing Malteaser Birthday Cake that she has handmade for her Aunty L1z. All the more appropriate as she occasionally enjoys the nickname Malteaser when she's having one of her 'brown on the outside, blonde on the inside' moments.

Yum, yum, yum!

Then Stuart and I knuckle down, proof-reading and slimming down his essay and then producing a Powerpoint presentation to go with.

I'd like to think I played a supportive role as he did the latter, but I rather fear that some of my suggestions were maybe a little too creative as a result of the two bottles of White Zinfandel that K and I have made our way through.

Still you have to do what you can to make Jeremiah 29 exciting...

Is there no end to your skills???

Are you referring to my skill at making friends with people who can cook, or the proof-reading thing?

The former is a talent I've keenly honed over the years, the latter...well it's mainly a case of if S can explain it well enough for an ignoramous like myself to understand then he must be doing ok!

so does that mean we're not friends or that I *can* cook, or that you're quite good at making friends with people who can't cook too?....

Caroline - our cooking together adventures have been some of my most fondly remembered memories of all time.

Sod it, let's just get a pizza...
